Stopped by a really cool RC track out in Medina today and wanted to start a new series around checking out different tracks, meeting people in the RC world, and just documenting the experience.
Every track has a different feel to it. Different layouts, different surfaces, different people, different energy. That’s what makes RC so addicting. You can go somewhere new and instantly feel connected because everybody there is into the same thing.
This place had a fun layout with some technical sections, nice jumps, and a smooth flow overall. Definitely one of those tracks where you can spend hours just turning laps and trying to improve every run.
What I like most about going to tracks like this is seeing the community side of RC. People helping each other wrench on cars, talking setups, showing builds, joking around, racing hard, breaking parts, fixing them, and going right back out. That’s the real side of the hobby.
RC is way bigger than most people think.
There’s creativity in it. Competition. Building. Learning. Problem solving. You’re constantly trying to get better at something whether it’s driving, tuning, or building the next project.
This is just Episode 1. I’m planning on checking out more tracks, more events, more shops, and more RC spots as this series keeps going.
RC Connectivity.™
